Toy Time

Here are some favorite toys at our house right now. What are your kids into?

Who doesn't love and own a set of classic wood blocks? Landon likes to pick them up and hold them (and try to eat them). Ethan and Madie use them to spell words sometimes.

A new favorite. I just bought this cool crayon for Ethan yesterday. He has never been one for drawing, but this cool little crayon has changed everything. All he has to do is hold the middle and he can pick any color that radiates around it to color with. Easy for him to control, hold, and draw with.

"GeoTrax all aboard" is a favorite saying around here. Ethan loves to play with his Geotrax train and Landon loves to watch it. The kids were excited the other day when dad helped them change the track around.

This Leapster is all that Madie wanted for Christmas. The last few mornings when I have gone in to get her up for school she has been sitting on her bed playing it. She is good to share with brother who is pretty good at working it, to my surprise.

We call this "taken a part Lightning McQueen". It's from Megablocks and the car comes apart and can be put back together. Ethan loves to build it and take it apart over and over again. I have seen two other little boys at church sporting the same little car. It must be a favorite of little boys everywhere. We finally bought the Mater that comes apart too for Madie.

Landon recieved this cute toy from Grandma Hodson on her last visit. The little red spots on the cheeks light up and make noises when you pull the top part of the body away from the bottom half. The wings are also soft and crinklie, perfect for Landon to put in his mouth.

Love the pictures! Amelia is my one who plays with toys the most. Brock anything he picks up is a toy, sticks, rocks, rubbberbands, what ever is laying around. Amelia is totally into Polly pockets and Ponyville ponies! I love them because she is so imaginitive with them!

Kim, what a great idea to take photos and document your kids favorite toys. They will love to see what they were playing with years from now. Glad to have found your blog to keep in touch.
