At the Cabin

The accomodations this trip were pretty nice, I think the bar has been set pretty high from here on out. The "cabin" as we called it, though it felt way to nice to call a cabin, was beautiful. There were six bedrooms total, some had two queen beds, some had one bed (the Master Suite had a king bed), and some had bunk beds with a queen bed. There were three and a half bathrooms, two sets of washers and dryers, a mud room I wish I could have transported back with me, a loft area, a hot tub, a wrap around porch, a great room, and a family room downstairs. The kids had fun all sleeping in one room (with the acception of Landon) so all the couples were able to have a nice room to themselves. The other nice thing about the cabin is that we were the first ones to stay there, so everything was new and fresh. We had fun spending time together there. Before the trip Papa made a list of animals that the kids might see on our trip. Each animal came with a monetairy value that the kids could earn if they saw the animals. Every child also put together a report on an animal of their choice to share each night. The list was a super success the kids had a great time looking for animals and even though they didn't see them all they all walked away with at least $25.00 from Grandpa and Grandma to spend on souvenirs at the end.
