This is one of my Bestest Friends Julia. Julia and I have known each other for seven years. Julia and I met in the mothers lounge at church when Madie was about 6 months old. We have children the same ages and have been there for each other through the ups and downs of life. Part of why we are friends (besides the fact that we have the same hair) is that our minds work in the same way, and we are drawn to similar things. Not to long after I got my camera Julia got one too and we have been sharing in this photography journey ever since. While I was up in Oregon Julia and I found some fun spots and took some pictures of each other. Julia I am so grateful that you are my friend, thanks for being such a great support in my life, I hope you like them.

Photography Workshop
I had the great oppurtunity of being able to head up to Oregon this last week to spend some time with one of my bestest friends Julia and to attend a photography workshop put on my Micheal Andrew. I am so glad I was able to go. Not only did I have a little get away, but I had so much fun. Julia and I spent the days talking, enjoying time w/o our, kids, we learned so much at our workshop, I was able to see friends I haven't seen for years, and it was over way to quick. I have a lot I need to think about and absorb from the workshop, but I am really hoping to improve my skills and my business after going to it. Thank you Julia for being a wonderful hostess and to Micheal for being a great teacher and giving me so much good information. Here are a few pictures I took, but am hoping to post more.

Workshop and a Weekend
We had a great weekend with family and friends. Why the kids hung out with Jeff and his parents I was able to attend a photography workshop put on by a photographer I really like. My friend Julia from Oregon flew in to attend the workshop and to have a "girls" weekend with me. It was so great to be able to see her and to have a little time without the kids. The workshop was Friday in the afternoon and the rest of the day Julia and I hung out and talked photography it was so fun. I was also able to have lunch with my sister Tracey and my little niece Alexis, it was great to be able to spend a little time with her at her place, thanks for making the time to see me Tray I wish I was closer so we could do it more often. Here are some pictures from the workshop. The brown curly haired girl is my friend Julia and no we are not sisters but could be I know.

Da' Boys
The weather has been pretty nice her expect for a cool breeze that keeps blowing. I just know if that breeze wasn't blowing it would be a perfect preview of a spring day. Q was over playing the other day and we headed out back (which at this point consists of grass, mud, and concrete patio, we are so ready for spring) the boys played basketball and kicked around the soccer ball. It was fun, but it didn't last too long before the boys wanted to head out front for some real fun with bikes and cars.
