Amelia Earhart

This year in Fourth grade one of Madie's big projects for school was a three part research project. Each student was assigned a famous and influencial person that has impacted society. Madie was given Amelia Earhart to research. We checked out books from the library and found credible sources on the internet for her to use. Most of the paper the students worked on in school. The paper was to consist of multiple paragraphs and it took a few revisions to complete the paper. After their papers were done they had to complete a display board with photos and bullet point information to go along with each photo. The whole fourth grade at her school did these projects and when they were all complete they held a "living museum" for the students of the school and their families. Each person was supposed to dress up as their person and give a minute speech about their person to resight to those at the musuem. Madie looked cute dressed up as Amelia. I am proud to report that Madie got 100% on her research project (including: paper, display board, and speech).
